Passionate about music, Liangping studied at California State University and the Manhattan School of Music in New York, where she earned a double master’s degree in classical piano performance and piano accompaniment.
Her musical passion lies particularly in chamber music, vocal accompaniment, and musical theater.
Over the past 16 years, Liangping has had the privilege of accompanying many wonderful students on their musical journeys. It fills her with joy and pride that some of her students have found their way to renowned music schools such as the New England Conservatory of Music, the University of Michigan, the University of Illinois, and the University of Liverpool.
Working with people is particularly important to her. Through her extensive teaching experience, Liangping has developed a unique teaching style. With a great sense of responsibility, empathy, and a special gift for encouraging her students, she accompanies each one individually on their personal musical journey.
